Erin Sidloski was born and raised in Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Canada in 1992. She moved to Saskatoon in 2010 where she studied studio art at the University of Saskatchewan, earning her bachelor degree in fine arts in 2015. Sidloski works predominantly in the medium of painting but has also completed multiple works in printmaking and collage. Exploring and photographing Canada’s vast wilderness has been essential to the inspiration and creation of her work. Sidloski’s fascination with natural landscape and her love of vibrant color helped build the foundation of her unique style. Her works can be found in both the University of Saskatchewan Art Collection as well as the City of Weyburn Permanent Art Collection.
